We are pleased to announce this spring’s winners of Rasmussen Doctoral Research Grants.
Ali Jalali: For acquisition and analysis of restricted-use data to study the impact of changes in state minimum wage laws on population health.
Porjai Chalermsook: For purchase of data access for research on “The Impact of Trade on Wage Inequality in Finnish Manufacturing Plants”
Up Sira Nukulkit: For participation in the Summer Institute of the Center for the History of Political Economy at Duke University
These grants are funded by an endowment created by Jewell J. Rasmussen, former professor and chair of the Department of Economics. The endowment supports undergraduate and graduate scholarships, summer research assistantships, doctoral student research grants, and other research and scholarly activities of the department.
